Hajj 2020 will begin in the evening of Tuesday, 28 July and ends in the evening of Sunday, 2 August 2020. These dates may vary.
Limitations for International Pilgrims
Saudi Arabia government has imposed limitations on Hajj 2020. As per limitations, no one shall be able to perform holy pilgrimage or Hajj in 2020 except the residents and citizens of Saudi Arabia.
According to the annoucement in Riyadh, Saudi Arabi, only limited number of residents from all nationalities shall be given permission for Hajj. Additionally, medical tests may be required and special safety arrangements will be made during the Hajj.

The ongoing virus pandemic is going viral and high number of people are affected of it. It is hard to re-test and validate the Hajj performers free from those germs. On the other hand, it was also declared difficult to stop the spreading of viral infection during Hajj.
In another statement, it is said that only ‘thousands’ of pilgrims shall be allowed to perform their religious obligation.
