Karachi is home to some of the most picturesque green spaces and beautiful parks that are the biggest source of entertainment for Karachiites. Nasir Hussain Park – Gulshan

This is one of the most well developed and beautiful parks of Karachi located in Gulshan. The entry fee to the park is just Rs. 5 with many facilities. The park has lush green plains and a small zoo which has a different kind of animals. The park also has a skating rink and a party area that can be rented to celebrate birthdays or other events. 

Nasir Hussain Park also has two large swings and play areas, many joy rides, and a beautiful, romantic gazebo built over a little pond. You can also jog at the jogging track, enjoy snacks from the cafeteria, and can view the big fish aquarium in the park. The park also has a separate car parking area so visitors do not have to worry about car parking.

Safari Park

Karachi’s largest park is the decade-old Safari Park, which was established in 1970 and is home to large lakes, hilly plateaus, lawns, and hundreds of trees. Covering approximately 148 acres, this public park is located in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal district. 

The park has a sanctuary-style zoo with a viewing area composed of chair lifts and safari tracks. It is also one of the oldest parks in Karachi which was inaugurated in 1970. The biggest attraction of Karachi Safari Park is its natural lake, home to a large number of swans and ducks with a pagoda-style structure in the middle. Since this park is so massive, you can drive your car inside and end up driving around the road built inside the park to find your perfect parking place. There are also a number of rides and refreshment centers within the park, making it easy for visitors to buy drinks and snacks without leaving the area.

HILL PARK KARACHI

Highly known as one of the best parks in Karachi for family outings, Hill Park offers a breathtaking view of the city along with some great attractions for kids and adults. It is located on a spectacular green hilltop in the PECHS, the park covers an area of approximately 62 acres. For those who love the peaceful atmosphere and greenery all around the place, they should visit the Hill Park. 

It has massive old trees and lush gardens with a beautiful duck pond. In addition, Hill Park is also home to Fun Zone, one of Karachi’s best amusement parks offering a variety of outdoor and indoor rides also with arcade games. The park has several eateries to get meals and shops offering beverages and snacks.

Jheel Park -P.E.C.H.S

Jheel Park is another old but beautiful and very well-maintained park in Karachi. The park is situated in Pakistan Employees Co-Operative Housing Society near Tariq Road. It is renowned for the beautiful artificial lake for long. 

The park has a wide jogging track where people come to jog in the morning and in the evening. It also has a play area for kids and a small cafeteria which offers snacks. The park is full of greenery and is a perfect place to relax after taking a break from the busy day.

Bagh ibne Qasim

Bagh Ibne Qasim, often known as Bin Qasim Park, is among the largest parks in the city with an area of around 130 acres. The lovely tropical waterfront park provides a picturesque view of the Arabian Sea, making it one of the best family picnic spots in Karachi. While these well-maintained gardens are ideal for an evening stroll or play sports, the seating area under the exquisite stone canopies helps visitors to enjoy the shimmering summer sun. 

The park also has few benches. Bin Qasim Park also contains a rose garden, a turtle pond, and a dinosaur mural. Besides this, as it is regarded to be one of the popular places to visit in Karachi, it is also used as a place for numerous cultures and food festivals.

Zamzama park

Situated opposite the busy Zamzama shopping street, Zamzama Park is an oasis of tropical palm trees with a long path of jogging and running. Spread over 26 acres of land, this family park in Karachi was established in 2001. There are a few swings for kids, which makes it a perfect place for kids and adults. 

You can relax at the park while your kids can enjoy the swings. The park has walking trails, skate ring, refreshment center, cactus exhibit, and children’s playground, among other facilities. Zamazama park is also one of the first parks of Karachi which offers free WIFI facility to the visitors.

Nisar Shaheed Park

Nisar shaheed park also has a gym for the members at the premises.

Hilal Park

Thanks to its vicinity to the famous food street of Boat Basin and Dolmen Mall, one of the most famous shopping centers in Karachi, this park draws a large number of visitors every day. Major Khalid Shaheed Park / Creek Park

This new park is very special, because it is on the shores of the Arabian Sea, giving it an enticing view. The location is by the Marina Club and some restaurants find it a perfect place to take your restless kids while you’re waiting for your dinner. 

Besides this, it is also packed with fascinating climbing nets and wooden beams, bridges, and hurdles for children and adults with sufficient seating and lush gardens. All this is perfect for spending a good time with your family. Relaxing in a peaceful atmosphere and playing games.
