All Pakistani Students Protest to Suspend Online Exams

Recently students community in Pakistan took stand to protest against online classes especially fee request without actually delivery online classes properly.

Now their protest has been so-called listened by HEC in a meeting with student’s representatives.

Today on June 8, 2020, students kept protesting on social media with #SuspendOnlineExams_HEC to show their unity to stop online exams.

We agree with this. Totally.

When there are no real terms, standards, and actual implementation of online education or knowledge delivery, then there is no reason to take exams. On the other hand, asking for semester or college fee is also a clear corruption.

Since several years institutes are getting richer on the pockets of students and their parents. Now in this crisis, all of a sudden, they become poor and free from their own pockets to bear their expense for few months.

Where are the big grants and funds now that they used to have? Where are the compensations for students now?

HEC, on the other hand, still not able to figure out all this situation. How would they even? They’re not used of ‘working for students in fact’. Pity.

In the response to meeting, HEC said: “Students want to get passed for free, which is impossible.”

Here are top picks from the Twitter to support our verdict and stand with #SuspendOnlineExams_HEC
